The Feeling of Going is a visionary new stage work by British choreographer Ben Wright set to the mesmerising album Go, by SIgur Rós frontman Jónsi.

Created in collaboration between Skånes Dansteater and Malmö Opera Orchestra and Chorus, Ben with his creative team staged the entire album.

The work was fully orchestrated by Jonas Nydesjö and had its world premiere at Malmö Opera in October 2013. It completed a second season as part of Scenkonstbiennalen in 2015 and in Autumn 2017 it had it’s third re-staging. In 2018 this latest version of the work was televised for SVT and other Nordic countries, in an especially produced film by Skånes Dansteater, Malmö Opera, 3 Minutes West and Stepping Ground. The lighting worlds we created ranged from the domestic to the epic and created settings from dawn to a sunset with fantastical twlights.
